So I want to start off this guide by saying that growing your hair is A LOT OF WORK!!!! I cut my hair Last May 2017 and we are now March 1st 2018 and my hair has grown tremendously …. (see pics at bottom)
From hair masks to vitamins to LOTS & LOTS OF WATER , I cannot stress that enough, its definitely not easy and Just like any other type of “growth” it takes time, patience & consistency.
First thing First, my number 1 secret to all of this is vitamins and Water. My favorite vitamins to take and that I have actually seen results are the Natures Bounty Extra Strength Hair Skin & Nails 5,000 MCG of biotin… (purchase below)….
Hair Skin & Nails Vitamins
This innovative formula provides you with the vital nutrients your body needs to support your natural beauty from within. B Vitamins help with energy metabolism, and Biotin helps to maintain healthy hair.* Vitamin E and Vitamin C are antioxidants. Vitamin E contributes to skin health, and Vitamin C is involved in collagen production and formation, which forms the basis for vibrant skin.* Vitamin A assists with skin maintenance, and overall health.*
The next most important is obviously water. I drink so much water and I literally detox every week and I drink a gallon of water everyday. Its so important to keep your body flushed, its not only good internally but also externally, to keep your skin clear and glowing.
Last but not least, HAIR MASKS & DEEP CONDITIONS. . I do use store bought hair masks IF AND ONLY IF they have natural ingredients, however I mostly make my hair masks, so to purchase my hair masks just hit Pay With Pay Pal.
Each hair masks works differently so be sure to read description before buying…..
Avocado Banana Lemon for Rejuvenation (HAIR MASK)
Avocados and bananas both contain Vitamin B, essential in repairing hair follicles, and potassium for restoring hydration. The added lemon juice will give your hair a nice shine! (Smooth the mixture into your hair in sections then put on a shower cap. Leave the mixture in for up to 30 minutes and rinse with cool water.) All Masks come in a small container enough for 3 uses. Use One time every 2 weeks.
Avocado Apple Cider Vinegar for Protein (HAIR MASK)
Acidity and pH For one, apple cider vinegar — beyond having some well-researched health properties — is an acidic substance. It contains good amounts of acetic acid. Hair that looks dull, brittle, or frizzy tends to be more alkaline or higher on the pH scale. The idea is that an acid substance, like ACV, helps lower pH and brings hair health back into balance. Antimicrobial ACV is also a popular home disinfectant. It may help control the bacteria or fungi that can lead to scalp and hair problems, such as minor infections or itchiness. Other claims Apple cider vinegar is praised for being rich in vitamins and minerals good for hair, like vitamin C and B. Some also claim it contains alpha-hydroxy acid which helps exfoliate scalp skin, and that it’s anti-inflammatory, which can help with dandruff. (Section hair, smooth mixture in, then put a shower cap on for 10-15 minutes and rinse with cool water.) All Masks come in small container good enough for 3 uses. use once every two weeks.
Oatmeal Mask for Dry Itchy Scalp (HAIR MASK)
Moisture & Softness Oatmeal has vitamin B and can penetrate the hair shaft, which allows our hair to retain moisture by acting like a humectant and the polysaccharides help in softening the hair. That same polysaccharides or glucan adds slip and as long as you keep it in (like a hair mask) your hair feels soft the entire time. (Apply to dry hair and let it sit for 20-25 minutes and continue then shampoo or co wash as you normally would.) All Mask come in small container which is good for 3 uses. Use once every 2 weeks.
My hair guide is pretty simple and to the point, obviously it takes time and maintaining a healthy diet can also speed up the process. My motto is NATURAL IS ALWAYS BEST! 🙂
